Summary[]
Maggie and Jason face the challenge of parenthood when daughter Carol tries to follow her mother's career as a reporter and sons Mike and Ben start gambling.
Carol writes a tryout article about guys who dig for clams called 'I Calm, Therefore I Am' for the Walt Whitman Chronicle, the school paper. When Maggie reads it, she is concerned that the article is filled with complicated words that no one would understand. Carol isn’t ready to hear her mother’s honest assessment.
